![]() ![]() Having that new level cap, but having the main game stuck at level 50 just seems unappealing to me. The Level 61 cap had an entire new campaign, which leveled every mission to you, and that you could reset to keep playing the missions at higher and higher levels. ![]() This is just my opinion, but I don't really see the point to having an increased level cap without anything to go along with it. And while I do hear some flack about some of the DLC's being underwhelming, it looks to me like they are actually trying to add decent content to the game. I know Gearbox did a lot of stupid shit (DN4F sucked, haven't tried Colonial Marines, neither do I plan to). Like I said, I haven't picked up BL2 yet, but I don't see any reason to give them flack for their DLC model, especially considering the other offenders. ![]() Grid 2 has been out of like 2 months and already has 7 pieces of DLC.Īrkham City also has like 8 pieces of DLC? I can't even buy them anymore so I'm forced to buy the GOTY edition (Yeah, up yours WB Games) Magicka has 22 pieces of DLC, only 2 or 3 were actual campaigns. Saints Row III had 20 DLC packs with only 3 adding any campaign content (which also disappointed the shit out of me)ĭawn of War II has like 20 DLC's + 3 standalones? ![]() I bought it on sale and had to sift through all the DLCs to see if they actually added a lot to the story, I ended up only picking up 3 because the rest seemed not to add a lot (mostly cosmetics and a single mission in a lot of packs) They are far from the worst offenders, granted I haven't played BL2 yet but to me their DLCs look like they actually have a lot of content to offer.Ĭompanies like Square Enix, Paradox, THQ (RIP), etc, etc, seem to do this tenfold.
